Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) Test Package
NOTE: I do not offer standalone HTMA testing without establishing a foundational nutritional therapy relationship, as I believe it would be a disservice to you to use this test without me having a clear understanding of your health history, concerns, and goals. If you are a new client, you may purchase this as an add-on to my Foundational Package. If you are a current/past client, this may be purchased as a standalone re-test.
About hair mineral testing:
Minerals play many important roles in the body, including:
Maintaining proper blood pH and hydration status
Acting as cofactors for enzyme reactions
Facilitating transfer of nutrients across cell membranes
Maintaining proper nerve conduction
Contracting and relaxing muscles
Providing structural and functional support
At least eighteen minerals are considered essential for optimal health. These can be divided into two categories — macrominerals and trace minerals. Macrominerals are needed in larger amounts (at least 100 milligrams per day day), while trace minerals are required in lesser amounts. Several minerals are antagonistic to each other, so it’s important that they are kept in proper balance.
Hair tissue mineral analysis (HTMA) is a non-invasive test that reveals a unique metabolic world: intracellular activity, which cannot be seen through most other tests. It measures the mineral content of a hair sample cut from the first 1.5 inches of growth closest to the scalp, which gives an indication of mineral status and toxic metal accumulation. Where blood tests give a snapshot of one moment in time (when the blood was drawn), HTMA provides information about a 3-month window (the period of time when the hair was growing). Additionally, the body works to keep blood levels within a tight range, so imbalances can be hard to pinpoint with blood work alone.
Package Includes:

One 60-minute session to go over your results

I recommend retesting after 3-4 months to help indicate if your diet and supplements are working for you.
